Changes Ahead for SPIHT 2026

We learned a lot from year one; what went well, what we could improve on, and what we could do altogether differently.  As we look forward to welcoming you back next summer, our aim is to deliver a smoother, even more enjoyable experience for customers, competitors, and volunteers alike.

Tickets for priority customers go on sale Tuesday 28 October – simply join the mailing list to make sure you’re on this list – and to the public on Thursday 30^th October.

Before they do, we would like to make you aware of two significant updates for next year’s event.

Introducing Junior Tickets (Ages 12–16)

Last year, young people aged 12 to 16 enjoyed free entry. This year, we’re introducing a Junior Ticket for this age group.

Why the change?
- It brings us into line with other major equestrian and sporting events across the UK.
- Offering free places up to 16 in year one was a wonderful way to launch, but to ensure long-term sustainability of the event, we must make some adjustments.

Importantly, children under 12 will still enjoy free entry, and you can add 4 free places per paying adult to your booking. If you’re planning to bring a large group of children, please contact the event office who will be happy to help.

A simpler, easier camping offer

We’re streamlining our camping offer to make the process easier and more cost-effective. Instead of choosing between 3 or 5 nights, there will be one camping product:

- 5-night pitch (Wednesday to Sunday)
- Space for up to 6 people at no extra cost per person
- Come and go as you please – arrive any time from Wednesday and stay until Monday lunchtime.

Please note: This does not include competitor or volunteer camping, which will start from Tuesday.
