Another phenomenal five days of sporting action is over here at Scone, and we would like to express our deepest thanks to everyone who attended and offered their cheers of encouragement to our riders, horses and their teams.
Hosting an event of this magnitude requires commitment from everyone involved. From the determination of our athletes, to the hard work of our team and volunteers, and the support of our traders and sponsors, it takes an incredible team effort to make our event a success and we are grateful to everyone.

What is Scone Palace International Horse Trials?
Every August, Scone Palace International Horse Trials promises four thrilling days of competition, world-class riders and outstanding sporting achievement. As Scotland’s only International Horse Trials, this is one of the country's leading equestrian events, attracting world-class riders from across Scotland, the UK and wider Europe.
In addition to being an CCI4*-L horse trials event, Scone also showcases an array of classes, including FEI International Eventing, British Eventing, Showjumping, Pony Club Games, Native Breed Showing and more.
Set against the historic backdrop of Scone Palace, crowning place of Scotland’s Kings, you will find all of the extras that make it a day out to remember. From the vibrant shopping village to a smorgasboard of delicious food and drink, fun activities, evening entertainment and an exclusive Members Area with the best view in the park, you will find plenty to keep you entertained and engaged.

When it comes to days out, Scone Palace International Horse Trials really is for everyone. Children under 12 attend the event for free and tickets for those from 12 – 16 start at only £12.
To add to the free family fun, we've teamed up with Horse Scotland to deliver an amazing family-friendly, kid-focused, event-within-the-event. Welcome, Horse Scotland Village.
Whether you're a seasoned Horse Trials camper or trying it out for the first time, our campsite faciltites are the perfect way to soak up everything that SPIHT 2026 has to offer.
With cafes for your morning coffee, great takeaways serving up hot meals, and full-on evening entertainment, we've thought of everything to make this a great expereince from tent up to tent down!
