Getting to Perth

Located in the heart of Scotland, Perth is extremely well connected via Scotland's main road network and easily accessed by public transport. 

Arriving by Car

From South & East (M90/A90):
Turn onto A85, Perth & Blairgowrie, from the motorway. Take a left at the third traffic lights, head past Stormontfield Road. Take the first exit at A93 roundabout and the first exit at the Stormontfield roundabout. From this point, follow event signage. 

 

From North & West (A9):
Turn off A9 onto A9 junction, heading East on Cross Tay Link Road. Take third exit on Stormontfield roundabout. From this point, follow event signage.

Parking at Scone Palace International Horse Trials

Parking is free of charge. Instructions for parking and arrival to the event will be provided at a later date. 

 

For those with Membership Passes, priority parking will be provided on site.

 

Rail

Perth Train Station is only 3 miles from Scone Palace and has a taxi rank outside. We advise that you book your taxi in advance or use the local bus services, or shuttle bus services to reach the event.

Electric Vehicle Charging in Perth

As an area, Perth is continually working towards the vision of a greener Scotland and we is proud to have made a public commitment to increasing the accessibility and availability of chargers, and to promoting the use of electric cars. 

In partnership with Transport Scotland, the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, and the Energy Saving trust, Perth and Kinross Council has installed 35 chargers within 13 locations across Perth and Kinross. There are ongoing plans to implement more so do keep an eye out for one near you soon.
