Scottish Grassroots Eventing Championships

The eventing at Scone Palace International Horse Trials kicks off with the Scottish Grassroots Championships at BE90 and BE100 level on Wednesday 20 August.

Riders will have qualified to compete in the Scottish Grassroots Championships via results at Scottish British Eventing competitions throughout the season. At Scone Palace, the dressage phase will take place on Wednesday.

Thursday will begin with cross country, followed by the showjumping phase, which will be contested in reverse order of merit to provide an exciting finale.

Grassroots Eventing

British Eventing National classes at BE90 and BE100 level will take place on Wednesday 20 August.

Unlike the Scottish Grassroots Championships, all three disciplines - dressage, showjumping and cross-country will take place on one day.

Grassroots provides a platform to the eventing discipline for both young and new entrants to the sport. Scone Horse Trials offers an opporunity for these riders to compete alongside some of the greatest International Eventers on the circuit.
