Acceptance of these terms and conditions will result in a legally binding contract between you (Visitor) and us (Operator) which include the terms of the licence which we have granted to you to enter the Venue. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with these Terms and Conditions.
1.Entry – Entry to the venue is subject to the right of the Operator (Scone Palace International Horse Trials, c/o Perth Racecourse Limited) to refuse to admit and/or to expel, without prior notice, any person whose behaviour is considered to be unruly or unacceptable or is a disqualified person.
2.Food & Drink – We advise Visitors that taking all liquids and food into the Venue is not permitted, and that permission for this is at the discretion of the Operator.
3.Alcohol – Visitors are reminded not to attempt to bring their own alcohol into the grounds and venue of the event. If any unauthorised alcohol is found, they will be required to return it to their vehicle, or our stewards will dispose of it. We are unable to retain any alcohol on behalf of Visitors for later collection.
4.Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 – The Operator informs patrons that it is prohibited for anyone to consume alcohol out with any of our licensed areas. Visitors must at all times abide by any rules and conditions in operation, including the observance of no drinking areas for safety reasons.
5.Dogs – Dogs are welcome into all areas of the event with the exception of the Member's Marquee. They will however, be permitted on the Member's Marquee Lawn. Please note, only Guide Dogs are permitted to be in any indoor facilities.
All dogs owners must adhere to the dog policy below:
Welcome: Dogs are welcome to attend the event however, there are a few conditions so please continue reading.
Lead Requirement: Dogs must be always kept on a secure lead and under control.
Off-Lead Policy: If a dog is found off-lead or not under control, the owner will be charged £20 (donated to charity) and may be asked to leave the event.
Waste Removal: Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Please ensure you bring your own poo bags. There are Dog Waste bins available across the site. Please refer to the site map to find exact locations.
Do Not Leave Dogs in Cars: Dogs must not be left unattended in vehicles. If dog/s are left unattended for any length of time in a vehicle, where we are legally able to do so, we reserve the right, if necessary, to force entry into a car to release any animals which may be suffering.
Water Points: Water points are located throughout the event site. Please see our site map for these locations.
6.Seating – Plenty of seating of various types, indoors and outdoors is available for Visitors. However, you are welcome to bring in your own seating.
Please be aware of seating, viewing platforms or accessible areas that are specifically for those that require it.
7.Prohibited Items – Visitors are advised that it is prohibited to bring any glass bottles or glasses into any part of the Venue. Stewards will advise of any other items deemed unsuitable to bring into the Venue, which should be returned to vehicles or confiscated. This is to ensure compliance with the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds Act and the HSE Event Safety Guide.
8.Cigarettes, E-Cigarettes and all Vaporiser products – The current smoking legislation regarding smoking and vaping in public places applies at the Venue. The use of e-cigarettes and vapes are permitted; however, they will be treated the same as tobacco products and therefore, strictly, forbidden indoors. Please dispose of your cigarettes ends carefully and in the appropriate bins as provided. Please ensure the end is distinguished fully before putting disposing of it.
9.Dress Code – There is no dress code on site, however football colours and attire are discouraged at all times. Please ensure you dress appropriately for the weather forecast as we are classed as an outdoor event. Member and Hospitality dress code is smart, casual. No ripped jeans or trainers please.

Pricing: All pricing on this website is in pounds sterling. If you are buying from overseas your payment card will be charged in pounds sterling at your card issuing bank’s current exchange rate to your local currency. For a guide to current exchange rates, you can use the XE Currency Converter at www.xe.com; please treat this only as a guide as the exchange rate of your card issuing bank is likely to be different.
Our pricing includes UK Value Added Tax at the current applicable rate. If you are purchasing from overseas you may have to pay an import duty to your own country, such duty is not covered in our pricing, and you will be solely responsible for its settlement to the appropriate authority. All bookings will incur a £1 or more handling fee.
General Admission ticket/s: Your e-ticket/s will be emailed to you 4 weeks before the event. Please ensure you give us the correct email address at point of purchase, you will receive a confirmation of booking email with a booking order number, please keep this safe until you receive the e-ticket/s.
Member and Hospitality ticket/s: Your ticket/s will be posted out to the address given at point of purchase 1-2 weeks before the event along with a detailed itinerary.

The above terms and conditions apply to Member and Hospitality guests as well as the below terms and conditions for Member and Hospitality booking process:
1. Confirmation of Booking – Your booking may be confirmed by email between you and the Operator once full payment, or 50% deposit has been received.
2. Payment and Invoicing – Where full payment is not made on booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% shall be invoiced to confirm your booking which is payable within 7 days of invoice to secure your space.
The balance of your booking, if applicable, will be payable 4 weeks prior to the event and will be invoiced accordingly.
If invoices are not paid on the due date your booking may be cancelled by the Operator.
3. Confirmation of Numbers – The number in your party shall be confirmed at the time your booking is made. You may notify the Operator, by email, of any reduction to this, which if made at least 28 days to the event, will allow a refund to be offered, at Management’s discretion, excluding the 50% deposit.
Any increases to your numbers may be made by you up until 5 working days of the event. All charges for any increased numbers made within 28 days of the event shall require to be paid at the time of the change by credit card.
Privacy Policy
The Operator is conscious that you are trusting us with private information which we need to process your order. You have our assurance that your information will not be shared with any other organisations except Stripe, our chosen payment card service provider. Acceptance of Orders
We retain the right to accept your order solely at our discretion. If we are concerned that you are attempting to place an order dishonestly, fraudulently, by impersonating someone else or are attempting to use payment details which have been stolen we will make additional checks as to your standing and if appropriate involve external authorities.
Photography & Videography
Please note that at most of our events, we have a photographer and/ videographer in attendance taking photographs/filming for use on our website, social media and other outlets. If you do not wish to have your photograph/image taken and displayed in any of these outlets by the Operator, please notify the photographer at the time or call us on 01738 503121.
If, however, the photograph/image has been used in a campaign and you did not tell the photographer/videographer nor tell the Operator that the photograph/image was taken, we cannot change the campaign graphic once printed/used and shall not be liable.
